LATEST PROGRESS OF LSF CONSTRUCTION

As previously approved by Lintech’s share holders, the construction of fabrication yard at seaside (LSF-Lintech Seaside Facility) has been commenced and progressing. Recent activities are to start fabrication of the first workshop 3000sqm from planned total 9000sqm (3 workshops). Also, the reclamation to total fabrication yard space of 120,000 sqm (12 Ha) is underway. This reclamation is scheduled to be completed at the end of this year. Starting a new year 2010, the 5000ton capacity skidway (7m water draft) will be started. The recent jetty at the northside of the facility has been structurally strengthen for under 500 ton equipment loading and unloading from LCT/Barge up to 5000 DWT.

Together with it’s reclamation activities in the fabrication yard area, LSF is again honoured to be the fabrication sites for 2 unit 45m diameter elevated thickener for LIHIR Gold Mining Papua Newguinea from FLSMIDTH Mineral Australia.
